5 fonts for my magazine
Times - i choose this because its formal and i like the shapes of the letters and suits my social class of my magazine. It also went well with my picture.
Tahoma - i didn't choose this for my title because its to informal and doesn't look like a magazine title font, however i did use this font for my little stories on the front of my magazine.
Comic Sans MS - i didn't choose this because its to young and round letters and didn't meet the social class of the rest of my magazine.
Century Gothic - i was going to choose this because its similar to Times however Times looked better for my magazine.
Arial Black - i didn't choose this because its to bold and didn't look right for my magazine and clashed with my picture.

Spotlight - I choose this because its suitable for the target audience and social class. Its a good name as everything in this magazine is in the 'spotlight'.
Blush - I didn't choose this because i think it sounds more of a make-up magazine.
Passion - I didn't choose this because it doesn't sound the social class i wanted my magazine to be. It also sounds to young for the magazine.
Glam - I didn't choose this because there's a magazine called 'Glamour' and I wanted mine to be more original and fresh.
Chic - I didn't choose this because I thought this was to much of an expensive name and to common.
Blush - I didn't choose this because i think it sounds more of a make-up magazine.

In class we were asked to find the answer to these 5 questions:
1. The most popular games console in the class, and the top game played.
2. The radio stations that people listen to and their favourite DJ.
3. The number of times people visit the cinema and what film they saw last.
4. How many people have satellite TV and how many hours they watch in an average week.
5. Which social network site and how many contacts do they have on it.
The answers to these 5 questions were:
1. The Wii and Just Dance.
2. Kiss and most people don’t have a favourite DJ.
3. Five people visited the cinema regulary and Step Up 3D.
4. Thirteen people have satellite TV at home and most people watch 14 – 28 hours per week.
5. Facebook and most people have 200+ contacts.
We did a questionnaire to find the answers to these questions. Everyone filled it in and the teacher photocopied us them and gave them back to us. We copied the answers into a spreadsheet.
We then sorted by each question. For example to get the most popular games console we searched games consoles. And the same for the other questions.

Explanation of mood board
Evaluation -
I have chosen to do my mood boards on fashion, hair and make up. I choose these because I am interested in them and they are nice to read and look at. Their target audience is girls.
I have decided to create a fashion magazine. I choose this because I initially wanted to create a make up magazine but my research found that there wasn’t many applying make up magazines so this would be hard to work with as I cant get my research from anywhere. I like fashion and am interested in it and know and love many fashion magazines.
I am going to put things like the latest fashion and models/celebs on the front cover. Also the newest gossip and news. I will also use big titles and eye-catching colours so that my magazine is as interesting and nice as the existing ones.
